So this past weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Lake Tahoe with a friend to enjoy the day relaxing by the beach. All in all it was a great day. Can’t complain. However there was one hiccup that put a little damper on our day. We forgot to pack food… You know my previous post about being hangry? Well you get the idea. Needless to say we had to cut the beach day short so we could go into town and grab some grub.
Lesson learned from the day, come to the lake prepared. It’s hot out, the suns out, you are going to need to be prepared. Whether it’s packing a cooler or just packing some light snacks, I guarantee it will make you beach going experience so much better. Also another good idea is to pack some drinks as well just so you don’t get dehydrated. Grab some friends and enjoy your day!
Packing food for the lake may seem like a hassle. However, it doesn’t have to be. Think ahead. Make a list and go to the store and start shopping. One easy thing to pack for the beach are some sandwiches. It doesn’t have to be your simple go to sandwich, get creative with it!
One thing I like to make are wraps. Get some turkey, mayo, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Take all of your ingredients and pile them on top each other. Then simply roll it all up and cut into inch long pieces. You are good to go!
